Rant: Heeere’s Hillary! Or, Obama drops another loaf (maybe).

I don’t like chain mail letters. I really, really don’t like chain emails. The kind that say, “forward this to everyone” to save the spotted whale, fund so-and-so’s surgery, support keeping elastic in Victoria’s Secret lace garters, etc.

Only this one is scary. If it isn’t true, it is still believable. And by publishing and bashing this ‘rumor’, perhaps we can avoid having it come true.

On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing
health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur
after the VP debate on 10/2.

There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info.
Generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there
to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. I have
already seen a few short blurbs about this – the ‘health problem’ cited in
those articles was aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same
rumblings.

However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like
this Obama strategy will be a go. Therefore, it seems that the best
strategy is to get out in front of this Obama maneuver, spell it out in
detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.

So, let’s start mixing this one up and cut the Obamites off at the pass -
send this info out to as many people as you can – post about it on websites
and blogs – etc.

I can just imagine the light dawning light in the Slick Willy household. Hillary tells Bill, “Now go to bed. Alone, for once!” and Bill rejoins with, “Well, your only for a future is if Biden drops out sick!”

Bill, “Who are you calling at this hour?” “That damn Obama. Maybe I can promise a few votes, or some campaign funds or some shit. We just have to let Biden take the VP debate – I will *not* stand next to that damn ‘fisherman’s daughter’ and smile.”

And I can see Obama going along. He doesn’t have to worry about his job or Hillary’s interference unless he drops dead, and then he still doesn’t have to worry. Drop Biden? Break promises, go for the easy public image boost? Ask Mr. “I am Christian” Obama what church he goes to. What church did he go to last year? Ask Mr. “I am patriotic” Obama how many sons and daughters he has raised to embrace uniformed or other government service, or where his salute to the flag is.

I can certainly see Obama short-sheeting the Democratic Convention by switching candidates. I can see Mr. “Situational Ethics” Obama giving Senator Biden a political wedgy. I can see Mr. “Elect me to the Senate so I can run for another office” Obama disrespecting the Democratic party, disrespecting the government and Congress, and grabbing for Hillary’s hand.

Um, did I mention that an Obama-Clinton ticket would enthuse me even less than an Obama-Biden ticket?
