Loving Annie,

I dunno about talking to ex'es. It seems likely you would have to filter both his and her backgrounds, reactions, mistakes and misdeeds - and lingering resentment - to figure out what to believe and what to tone down. You might get a feel for some of the areas of conflict - but you are more likely to run into a problem we all have with relationships.

We often can't explain to someone else what really bothers us. We can list examples, and most-recent incidents. But we often stop with surface resentments and never fully uncover the background, the fundamental source of our turmoil.

Thanks for your thoughts!

90 day probabtion is a great idea. So is SLOWLY taking the time to get to know someone and not l;etting your hormonal hopes delude you... I also think being able to talk to three of their friends about them and how they treat the people they are in relationships with would be helpful - and that includes ex'es :)

Loving Annie’s last blog post..A Favor to Ask
