It’s About Making Babies!

I have only seen the clips of Brittney Spear’s MTV performance shown on Fox News channel.

And I like it. Yeah, she has more padding than a sexually exploitive teeny-bopper. But she looks adult, attractive, and her body wasn’t covering up her talent.

Bonus: No visible tattoos, no prominent piercings calling attention to parts of her body. Think Liza Minelli appearing with Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra. Grandmother, skirt up to ‘yar, and what you see — is a performance.

I have not been a big fan of Brittney until now, she hasn’t sung anything I really wanted to hear, and her gyrations and glitter were obviously aimed at the Beautiful People with Money. Looking more human, though, and traversing her current gritty path, she may well settle in for the long haul as a working performer.

I hope so, anyway, and wish her the best.
